This scholarship was established in honor of Katie
Christiansen in 2003 and in 2008 upon the death of
Nels became the Nels & Katie Christiansen Junior
Golf Scholarship. In 1983 our mom and dad started
the program with four golf courses and a handful of
golfers. It has grown due to their hard work and
dedication. The scholarships are awarded each
spring to golfers going on to college who have
participated in the program.
